What is Operf?
Operf is a scouting and player tracking platform for basketball. Its purpose is simple: bring everything you know about players together in one place, so that this information stops getting lost in notebooks, spreadsheets, phone notes or emails.
In practice, Operf lets you:
- Store — every Player has a single page that centralizes their profile, their club, their Agent, their contacts and their history.
- Organize — Scouting Reports structured by Templates, tracking Lists, Priorities, Statuses and Profiles that you define yourself.
- Share — your colleagues see the same, up-to-date information, with Comments and mentions to discuss things directly on a page.
- Find — a search and filters to get back to a Player or an observation, even months later.
The tool suits an independent scout working alone just as well as a full staff — coaches, managers, sporting directors — sharing the same pool of players. Nothing is lost when someone leaves the club: the knowledge stays in Operf.
Tip
Your data is private. Everything you enter in Operf belongs to your Club only: no other club has access to it. Inside the Club, you choose who sees what — each User can be granted or restricted access to certain sections. See Pro/Youth sections & roles.
Navigation at a glance
On desktop, everything sits in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. On mobile, those same entries are grouped behind the ☰ button in the top left.
